Come Ready to Dance!
Classical ballet provides the technical foundation for all forms of dance. Ballet develops strength, stability, coordination, musicality, grace, and body awareness while introducing dancers to one of the world's most enduring artistic traditions.
Our ballet program is designed to help dancers build strong technique while developing confidence, discipline, and an appreciation for the art form.
- Classical ballet technique and terminology
- Strength, stability, balance, and coordination
- Grace, poise, posture, and body awareness
- Musicality and artistry
- A strong technical foundation for all styles of dance
Dress Code
Our ballet dress code reflects the traditional standards found in reputable ballet schools around the world. A consistent dress code allows instructors to clearly see alignment, placement, and technique and helps dancers understand the focus and discipline of a ballet class.
Hair
A polished, secured ballet bun is required.
Hair of all lengths should be pulled back and securely pinned to the head. Loose ponytails, braids, and side pieces are not permitted.
Simple, neatly secured hair accessories are welcome. If you are unsure how to create a proper ballet bun, please ask our staff. We are happy to help!
